Menu Planning & Tastings - Not just for Restaurants

Nicol Hughes has a wide range establishments that are our customers; including cafes, coffee shops, delis, school, and golf clubs ( to name a few! ) Many of these businesses do not consider evaluating their range and offering as "menu planning" - but it is!


We are happy to help research, source products for all types of catering business; not just pubs and restaurants. We are pleased to offer assistance leveraging our experience and industry knowledge to help  your business and menu be both profitable and innovative.


1 - Our Business Manager will consult with a chef or proprietor to best understand the business, audience and goals for the menu planning. Is this about finding a new range? Optimising a current menu for maximising profitability? Making adjustments for seasonality and trends? Or advice on Vegan or Gluten-Free options?


2 - Business Manager will research the best options and products that will meet the brief


3 - Business Manager will return to your establishment with samples of the most suitable options for your business; cooking off samples where appropriate. This visit can also include additional support from the supplier of the products themselves. If requested, suggested menu costing can be supplied.
